Books

It has been awhile since I have purchased books, but these are 3 books I want or have bought over the past few months. Such great inspiration from Design to Personal Collections to lovely Illustrations and Children Stories.

DIY Wall Art
Love this DIY idea for an art wall using paint chips via Apartment Therapy.
Excited about this big event this weekend, I submitted for the show back in July (but didn't make the cut).
I know both of the designers (so I can't vote, but you should)...I am excited to see what they came up with!!
Also, Wintry Market is coming along nicely...check out our official poster (by Jason Sievers)... I adore the little snow guy!

Lovely ideas
I love Dottie Angel, by how an amazingly great thrift-er she is, and all the cute stuff she makes. The images above are a square crochet blanket (that I will have to try) and some darling burke chairs she found. You can find Dottie on her website, twitter, shop, flickr, and she has a new book coming out this summer!

Crochet!
So I decided last week that I was going to re-teach myself how to crochet, and so far its been a success. Above is a blanket that I started on last Wednesday, and I have already gotten pretty far. I am using leftover thread, so its going to be an mix of various colors and stripe widths.
