White w/ Color

My sister and I created these floral arrangements for Chair Affair this weekend. This year I decided to use glass jars with a silver spray-paint design. I also created some simple colorful arrangements as gifts for the volunteers. The event was filled with innovative design, friends, and fun! Can't wait for next year, and I hope to share pictures soon!

Freckled Nest; Leigh-Ann (or some call her LA) blogs about her passions including design, paper crafts, art and the little things that surround her and she also has the cutest little doggies. Also check out Style School a fantastic group she has with the talented Elsie of A Beautiful Mess.

Simplified Bee; Cristin who is a wife, mother and a organization guru writes about design inspiration and ways to make your home look good and in good order. She has an amazing eye for color and decor.

Scoutie Girl, is a site dedicated to handmade art and artists. It was founded by Jan of Daisy Janie, and is now hosted by Tara Gentile of Handmade in PA. This blog is worth visiting to keep up on all the talented people new and old in the crafting world.

Yolksy, lovely blog by interior designer Annie May from Venice California. She blogs about her designs and ideas from inspiration, and has one of my favorite feature posts for Design Milk, called The Beat Boxed... which is a series of post that draws design ideas from music.

Nest Interior Design, is in Dallas Texas. They have beautiful design photos of projects, and a fantastic boutique for us designers to swoon over.

Our Designed Life, Monica is an Interior Designer based out of Venice Beach California and she likes to discuss design ideas. She has a wide range of design expertise... which I find very important!

Gertie on Desire to Inspire

My dog Gertie was featured today on Desire to Inspire (one of my favorite blogs).

They have been featuring pets on furniture (Mondays) for those who want to show off their pet and their furniture. Very cool idea!
