Pickett Furniture | Forbannelse Chair

I wanted to post about a stunning furniture piece, the Forbannelse Chair from the Pickett Studio Collection. It is made from American Black Walnut, and has such a sleek modern design.

The design of their furniture including this chair features ancient Japanese joinery methods (Kashigi-oire, Mechigai-dome, and Wari-kusabi), which helps them cut down on the use of screws, nails and other materials. Check out this link to find out more about the great story behind their process and training.

Dimensions are 44" high, 18" wide and 21" deep. Each chair retails for $1800 each or $7500 for a set of six.
